Get ready to take control of your training quality with IOTQ Quality Standards

The Quality Standards are a key reference point for professional training, protecting the interests of the involved parties, and championing the certified providers reputation for quality.

They were created to solve the most pressing challenges that the training professionals face in 2023 and beyond.

Components of Our Quality Standards

  • INTENTIONS

Course educational standards meet the requirements of the applicable certification framework.  The value of certifications given to learners is consistent with sector-recognized standards both at the time of award and over time.

  • OBJECTIVES

Courses are well-designed, provide a superior learning experience, and allow for the reliable assessment of achievement. From admission to certification, all learners gain the assistance they require to succeed in and benefit from the training.

  • DESIGN

Proper planning and execution ensures that the processes and outcomes of course design, development, and approval remain consistent and transparent. Both internal and external reference points are used. Internal and external stakeholders' feedback is used to shape the course content.

  • SUPPORT

Plans are in place for engaging learners and facilitating accomplishment. They are aligned with the learner journey.  Policies and procedures that are clear and accessible allow learners and trainers to identify when support mechanisms are needed for personal and professional advancement.

  • COLLABORATION

The certified organization will be held accountable for ensuring the overall quality and training standards.  It  will have appropriate governance in place to authorize and oversee the development and management of different forms of collaboration, as well as to monitor their effectiveness.

  • APPLICATION

Training courses and opportunities are designed and developed in collaboration with employers, trainees, and other stakeholders (as needed), to include learning outcomes that are relevant to work objectives. There would be a component of on-the-job training where possible.

“One can state, without exaggeration, that the observation of and the search for similarities and differences are the basis of all human knowledge.”
